Michal Stehlík

*1976, Historian-Slovakist

He mainly specialises in Czech and Central European history of the 19th and 20th century. Between 2006 and 2014 he was Dean of Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, where he still gives lectures on contemporary Czech history. Since 2014 he has been Deputy Director-General of National Museum in Prague and between 2014 and 2014 he was the Chairman of the Czech Radio Council. He is the author of many publications and exhibitions and is also engaged in popularisation of modern history in the media. He is still astonished discovering the world also thanks to the curiosity of his eight children.
